Terms and Conditions

Susan Braithwaite Therapies

These terms and conditions set out how I work and what you can expect when booking or attending hypnotherapy sessions with me.

By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

About my services

I offer hypnotherapy sessions in-person and online. Hypnotherapy is a complementary approach designed to support positive change, wellbeing, and personal development.

I do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, and I do not provide medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment.

Hypnotherapy should not be considered a replacement for medical care, counselling, or other professional support you may be receiving.

Suitability

Hypnotherapy is not suitable for everyone.

During an initial consultation, we will discuss your needs and decide together whether hypnotherapy is appropriate for you at this time.

If I believe your needs would be better supported by another professional or service, I will discuss this openly and may suggest seeking alternative or additional support.

Client responsibility

Your progress depends on your willingness to engage in the process and apply what we work on together outside of sessions.

While hypnotherapy can be highly effective, results cannot be guaranteed and vary from person to person.

Appointments and booking

Appointments must be booked in advance using my booking system or by arrangement with me directly.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when booking is accurate and up to date.

For online sessions, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable private space and a reliable internet connection.

Fees and payment

Fees are clearly displayed at the time of booking.

Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed.

Packages of sessions are offered to support momentum and continuity of work. Package details will be explained clearly before booking.

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice.

Cancellations made with less notice, or missed appointments, may be charged in full.

Details of cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are outlined in the Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential.

Information will not be shared with third parties unless:

  • you give explicit consent
  • there is a legal obligation to do so
  • there is a serious risk of harm to you or others

I keep brief professional notes in line with my Privacy Policy.

Boundaries and professional conduct

I aim to provide a calm, respectful, and professional environment at all times.

I reserve the right to end a session or discontinue work if boundaries are not respected or if continuing would not be appropriate.

Limitation of liability

I take reasonable care to provide professional services in line with my training and experience.

I cannot accept responsibility for decisions or actions you take outside of sessions.

Changes to these terms

These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time.

The most current version will always be available on my website.
